DeLor Montessori School Year: DeLor offers a year round program, with the academic portion of the school year September - Mid June. The hours of operations are 7:00am to 6:00pm. The school offers a Summer Program with less emphasis on the academic program and more on outdoor activities. We accept enrollment year-round, with the majority of the students starting in June and September. The registration period for the new school year is held the last week of March, with a lottery program (for the Primary though Kindergarten classes only). All applications are accepted during the last week of March with notification for acceptance by the first week of April. If your child does not get in during the lottery period, the child is placed on a waiting list and is given at least a 30 days notice when a opening becomes available. The waiting list would be used from September until the last week of March, when the lottery would be conducted for the next upcoming school year. If your name is on the waiting list for a one year period, you would have priority for the following school year and would not be required to participate in the lottery. Pre-enrollment is held during the first two weeks of March for all priority families. Priority families would include: Families that have been on the waiting list for one year, Alumni families and returning students. The Infant / Toddler program is filled directly from our waiting list, on a first come first serve basis. Prior to having your name put the waiting list, we ask that the family visit our school for a tour. Once you have completed the tour, you child will be added to our waiting list. There is no deposit required at that time. Once you have been contacted for an upcoming vacancy (a 30 days notice will be given when ever possible) you are required to come to the school to pay the registration and deposit in order to hold your child's space.
